About Our Business
By coordinating from the get-go, we hope to eliminate issues that arise during construction and have a quality set of drawings that accurately match the architectural intent by the time of the first submittal. By using the best analysis tools available, we are able to utilize a global approach to the analysis of the structure by analyzing all members together, rather than single elements allowing for a more accurate and efficient design, saving the homeowner money in the long run.
We use primarily Autodesk Revit for drafting with the ability to draft in AutoCAD or Bluebeam for small projects.
Caan Taylor
High Ridge Structural was created by Caan Taylor, in 2024, in Silverthorne, CO as a way to service Summit County and the surrounding areas with the best possible local structural services, and to provide Risa assistance where the Support line leaves off. Caan graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2013 with degrees in Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics, and has been continuing his engineering journey ever since. He earned his Colorado Professional engineering license in 2018.
When it comes to Risa, Caan has over a decade using the various products, and it is his primary analysis tool. He has designed everything from a simple garage addition, to intricate custom homes, to full apartment complexes, and everything in between. He has run into most errors you would run into, and knows how to fix most, if not all challenges that you will encounter. He has had regular contact with Risa as well as their Support line, and has seen multiple of his suggestions implemented into their suite of programs.
